On the other hand, the construction of the platform allows creating a piece that fits perfectly in its space. Measure the length and width of your mattress. Cut two pieces of plywood measuring 14 inches wide by the measurement equal to the length of the mattress. Cut two pieces plus plywood measuring 14 inches wide by the measurement equal to the length of the mattress. These will form the frame of the platform bed.
Subtract ½ inches from the width of the mattress. Cut five pieces of wood that measure 14 inches by this measurement. Cut 21 pieces of wood that measures 14 inches by 12 inches. These plates form the brackets on the upholstered platform bed king. Add a foot to the length and width of the mattress. Cut the MDF sheet into a rectangle playing these adjusted measurements. Spray the front of one of the frame plates with spray glue. Unroll batting on a flat work surface. Place the adhesive on the board side down into the batting. Wrap the batting around the board as you can wrap a gift. Secure it in place with staples around the perimeter of the joint. Repeat the procedure with the remaining frame and MDF sheets.
Unroll the fabric side down on the work surface. Place one of the batting boards covered upside down on the cloth. Wrap the board with cloth using the same method as batting. Repeat with remaining frame seal and MDF sheet. Place the frame joints to create a rectangle equal to the size of your mattress. Use your nail arms and penny nails to attach the boards together. Space your long, inboard boards a foot away the entire length of your frame. The tables should be run parallel to the foot of the upholstered platform bed king. These boards act as interior supports. Secure the boards to the structure with your nail gun. Firing two nails through the frame plate to the right at one end of the support plate. Repeat on the left side. Repeat the procedure with the remaining tables.
